Andrew
Andrew Buckner is a licensed acupuncture physician in the state of Florida (AP3326) and was trained in Fort Lauderdale, Florida at the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine from which he holds both a Bachelors degree in Health Science and a Masters degree in Oriental Medicine. Andrew relocated to Tulsa in 2019 and is primarily general practice, but also specializes in cancer support and addiction/ recovery. Having worked several years for The Sari Center in Florida, Andrew has treated cancer patients in all phases of treatment from initial diagnosis to remission and everything in between, helping to manage physical symptoms/side effects of chemo and radiation treatments and also the emotional and psychological effects that come with a cancer diagnosis. Andrew has also worked several years in an addiction/ substance abuse setting treating patients in all stages of recovery treatment from acute detox and withdrawal to in-house residential inpatient care and even outpatient and aftercare. Andrew believes in compassionate care rooted in the Eastern principle that mind, body, and spirit are intimately and necessarily intertwined and that one cannot be treated separately from the other two.
